Reality

May 10, 2025 | Short Story

You should understand, I like my reality this way
It is simple and everything fits very nicely
In those boxes and on those shelves
It takes away the fear of
All of risks and the grim unknown

You must understand, I like reality this way
If you move a single card, the entire structure will implode
With it will come down all I know and love
It keeps the fear away
It is better this way

I need reality this way
Or else everything will crumble
My very self with disintegrate
It was obvious all along
There is really no other way

This is reality
To say anything would be absurd
I simply would not accept it

Welcome to reality
